Peter Moyes Anglican Community School

The Moodjar team provided cultural leadership and advice to Peter Moyes Anglican Community School.

Starting by sharing the outcomes of the cultural literature review of the area, Moodjar supported the teaching staff and students to connect with the land they work and teach on.

This cultural engagement included:

Providing cultural advice on the school house designs.
Supporting the students to write their own Acknowledgement to Country in English and Nyungar, and then filming this Acknowledgement together with Dr Len Collard.
Delivering a Nyungar naming session with students from the Primary and Secondary schools, to name four of the spaces around the school site.
